Dr. Konstantina Orlandatou

Konstantina Orlandatou is a musicologist, multimedia artist and VR developer. Since 2018 she has been leading the project “Moving Sound Pictures” in which she uses VR technologies as a medium for art mediation combining visual arts with music.

As both a multimedia artist and VR developer, Orlandatou collaborates with curators and museums such as the Hamburger Kunsthalle. Her vision is to help museums and cultural institutions integrate XR technologies in their permanent exhibitions — presenting the traditional artworks alongside their digital transformations to create interactive and immersive experiences that appeal the audiences of all ages.

Since 2023, she leads the XR Lab of the ligeti center in Hamburg.
