Daniel Wagner joined Snap in 2019 and serves as Senior Director of Software Engineering, leading the software development of the Spectacles program. Previously, he served as Chief Scientist and later CTO at DAQRI, where he developed novel industrial augmented reality software and hardware solutions. His groundbreaking dissertation, “Handheld Augmented Reality,” laid the foundation for the rise of augmented reality on mobile devices.
