Egle Rääsk is the co-founder of Blueray, a University of Tartu spin-off behind VR History™, creating historically authentic XR experiences for museums, cultural heritage sites, and education. With a background in history and entrepreneurship & technology management, she has led the development of award-winning outdoor VR time-travel experiences such as VR Toila 1938 and VR Tallinn 1939/44.
Her master’s thesis, User Experience of a Virtual Reality Historical Tourist Attraction, was recognised as the best in its field at the University of Tartu. She and her team are now developing The Dawn of (R)evolution, a single-player VR edutainment game where players encounter hominin species. Her work bridges history and technology, bringing the past to life through interactive storytelling.
