Emilia Gozzano is an award-winning film director and XR artist. She studied animation and XR technologies, to bring animated content into VR/AR/MR experiences.
Her current VR project, “The Origin of Blindness”, won the Annecy MIFA pitches – Immersive experiences: Booster Award in 2024, after being selected at multiple XR markets such as New Images (France) and GIFF (Switzerland).
Her last VR experience “Recorda Me” was awarded the RAI Cinema VR Channel Award. Her short films won awards such as the Venice Biennale 74 Giornate degli Autori (Bookciak Azione award).
She worked with the italian animation studios Studio Ibrido and Showlab S.r.l., and was selected at animation residencies such as AiRLovere by Bruno Bozzetto and NextLab Generation (IberMedia Next).
