Dr. Jana Funke

Dr. Jana Funke is an HCI expert focused on the research and design of interactive technologies. During her PhD at Ulm University, she explored how Extended Reality can support movement and create engaging exercise experiences. Together with Nadja Prichheim, they are building xenko, a Germany-based XR startup for workplace health promotion. Jana leads Strategy & Finance, while Nadja leads Product Design, Marketing & Communication. Together, they combine scientific, technological, and design expertise with an entrepreneurial vision to create meaningful experiences that encourage people to move more and live healthier lives.
